Subject: Need for more essential housing in San Carlos

Dear San Carlos City Council

New commercial developments in San Carlos will bring in thousands of new workers and exacerbate the ongoing housing crisis. This will drive up costs for our neighbors who rent, as well as make home affordability harder for our teachers, nurses, police officers, children returning from college; all those who play an essential role in making San Carlos the great community that it is.

We therefore request the San Carlos City Council work with commercial developers, non-profit developers and the community to come up with a plan to address the city’s current and looming housing crisis.

We want San Carlos to be the City of Good Living for all.
